Salt

Job 6:6 Can that which is unsavory be eaten without salt?

Jam 3:12 Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield
salt water and fresh.

Col 4:6 Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with
salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.

Mar 9:49-50 For every one shall be salted with fire, and every sacrifice shall be
salted with saltSalt is good: but if the salt have lost his saltness, wherewith will ye season it? Have salt in yourselves, and have peace one with another.

and then there was Lot's wife...

"Remember Lot's wife. " (JESUS Luke 17)

(Remember?  She looked back at Sodom and Gomorrah... and became a pillar of salt.)

"Then the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven; And he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground. But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt. "

Jer 17:5-8 Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD. For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited.

Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.
