I thought of anotherset of homonymical words... presence.... and presents... how about presents.. as in "presents itself."
Funny, isn't it? We present presents to people at Christmas to honor His (God's) presence amongst us... and He gave the world the gift (aka present) of His Son, Jesus Christ.... sending his presence among mankind, making himself known....
and this to GIVE (present to us his present) us eternal life.
